When the art speaks before the artist
This is a “mystery exhibition” where the artist’s name is not revealed. Visitors experience the artwork first, without any information. At the end of the exhibition, the artist is revealed. This process invites us to rethink how we see and judge art.

‘작품이 먼저 말하다’
이 전시는 작가의 이름을 공개하지 않는 ‘미스테리 전시’입니다. 관람객은 어떤 정보도 없이 작품을 먼저 마주하게 됩니다. 전시의 마지막에 작가의 이름이 공개되며, 이 과정을 통해 우리는 예술을 어떻게 바라보는지 다시 생각해보게 됩니다.

우정
Before the Name의 첫 번째 전시,
에피소드 1은 ‘우정’을 주제로 합니다.
전시에서는 친구의 다양한 모습을 담은 작품들이 전시되어 관람객들에게 ‘우정’ 의미를 생각해 볼수 있는 공간을 만드려고 합니다.
친구는 우리 주변의 사람뿐 아니라, 어떤 순간에는 장소, 기억, 또는 사물도 우리에게 친구처럼 느껴지기도 합니다.
이 전시는 사람과 사람 사이를 넘어, 우리가 주변과 맺는 다양한 연결을 이야기합니다.

Friendship
The first exhibition of Before the Name explores the theme of “Friendship.”
Through a collection of works that capture different forms of friendship, the exhibition invites visitors to reflect on what friendship means to them.
A friend is not only a person. At times, a place, a memory, or even an object can feel like a friend to us.
This exhibition goes beyond relationships between people, and looks at the many connections we form with the world around us.

이번 전시에는 캐나다에서 초청된 사진 작가가 함께합니다.
초대 작가의 작업은 ‘Friend’ 시리즈로,
사람과 사람 사이의 관계뿐 아니라
우리 주변의 존재들과 맺는 감정의 연결을 담고 있습니다.
작가의 이름은 전시장에서 공개됩니다.
